CONVERSE AW15: THE CLASSIC NYLON COLLECTION

Converse was founded on the idea of progress, of taking what is known and making something more of it. This idea has carried the Converse brand through the last 107 years and into the present with the launch of Converse Accessories. As we head into Autumn, Converse take a toned down approach to the line, with classic and clean shapes and subtle branding on their Classic Nylon range.

Now in their ninth season, Converse Accessories continue to offer a range of bags that you can carry anywhere, wear with anything, and style any way you like. From sporty to smart casual, the Classic Nylon Collection gives you a range of hard working accessories that are functional and look great, in a heavier weight nylon for a premium feel.

The trendsetter. The Diagonal Zip Backpack, available in black, was the first bag in the range to feature clean, progressive, squared off lines. Originally introduced in AW14, the Diagonal Zip has been updated in nylon for AW15. It’s all you need in an everyday backpack, with adjustable, padded shoulder straps, a front zip pocket, an internal sleeve for paperwork, a padded 15” laptop sleeve, and debossed Chuck Taylor patch branding.

With a more spacious main compartment and front utility pocket, the Horizontal Zip Backpack can hold all your daily essentials. This backpack offers a larger 17” internal laptop compartment and an interior organiser pocket, as well as internal sleeve for paperwork, as well as the debossed Chuck Taylor patch branding for a subtle nod to one of the world’s most recognisable brands. This bag comes in classic navy blue, khaki green and black.

The classic Converse shape gets upgraded for AW15 with this new heavyweight nylon and available in navy blue or black. This iconic shape features a handy side zip shoe compartment so you can keep your trainers separate from your gym kit. The bag offers a spacious 31L and features an adjustable shoulder strap with webbing grab handles, a front zip pocket, an interior slip pocket, and that classic yet subtle debossed Chuck Taylor patch branding.

Converse are always a brand I consider when I'm looking to invest in a new bag. Whatever the style you get, you can be assured its reliable, practical durable and looks good. Bags and accessories are an addition to an outfit, not just an afterthought and I think this is something Converse always consider when creating their new collections, and I love the fact that practicality and space is still always the priority.
