PUMA INTRODUCE THE HANON X ADVENTURER PACK

The PUMA Adventurer Pack consists of three drops releasing throughout the year. The idea behind it references a time in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, when resourceful European sneakerheads frequently ventured to the United States to source rare, vintage or new footwear that were unavailable in their local markets. Selling these exclusive imports soon turned out to be a profound business model and in some cases laid the foundation to the opening of an actual store.

With Sneakers N Stuff and Solebox taking centre stage earlier this year, in the third and final installment, PUMA collaborate with one of Europe’s most original Sneaker stores - Hanon Shop from Aberdeen, Scotland.

In the early 90's the two Toft brothers, founders of Hanon Shop, flew out to California to visit relatives in Huntington Beach, Orange County to source rare footwear that could not be found in the UK. The first visit was during a harsh winter in Aberdeen and the inspiration for the shoes draws from that memory - the darkness and cold of wintery Scotland clashing with the bright and sunny warmth of Southern California.

The XT2+ consists of a premium suede upper, subtle Hanon branding on the heel as well as a sock liner which reveals the Toft brothers passions at the time – music, travelling and more.

The XS850 is made up of a smooth nubuck with bold suede overlays and a perforated vamp. Subtle Hanon logos can be seen on the heel and the side of the XS850 and features the classic Hanon print on the sock liner alongside matching laces.

The PUMA X Hanon Adventurer pack is available on November 14th at Hanon and at selected global retailers from November 21st retailing at £115.
