TERRIBLE MOVEMENT SS14 'MIXTAPE'

Berlin based fashion brand and one of my favourites, Terrible Movement launch their SS14 collection titled "Mixtape". This brand stays true to its distinctive aestetic throughout its collections, but with every release they put a very special twist on our favourite TM designs! This whole collection embodies a 90s teen dream feel and the Lookbook mirrors this with it's playful styling by Maria Pizzeria and homemade backdrop! Bringing a rainbow of colour to my world for this summer, the brand have again spun another twist to make this SS14 collection stand out from the rest. Screen printing is central to Terrible Movements apparel, but further endorsing that dreamy memories of 90s teen angst feel, the brand have explored the use of split fountain screen printing. The hand written fonts are printed in gradient prints with flecks, streaks and supposed "imperfections" - but I couldn't dream them any more perfect! With every piece now that little bit different, TM have fully embraced the chaos of printing inks and this just further reinforces the theme of the 'Mixtape' collection. I'm besotted with it!

As well as our favourites, new pieces for the SS14 collection include "Crybaby" and "Drama" prints. Check out the new muscle tees (£35), tees (£35) and long sleeve crops (£45) along some of our favourites below...

Photographer Alexandra Waespi shot the Mixtape Lookbook using 35mm film and on instant Fuji film, again staying true to the youthful and iconic 90s vibe and the brands handcrafted aestetic!

I want need everything! I cannot wait to get my hands on the "Who's Rad?" and the Sonic Youth inspired "Teenage Riot" designs especially! Make sure you keep up with Terrible Movement through their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram! The SS14 Mixtape collection is available online now! So don't waste any time, go and grab something before I take it all!
