BLOG TAKEOVER: SOPHIE'S CREPE CITY ROUNDUP

Fellow sneakerhead and my partner in crime Sophie passed through Crepe City at the weekend and has done a review of the event for us! Make sure you check her out, over on Twitter and Instagram @chickinkicks92.

Saturday marked the 11th instalment of Europe's biggest sneaker event Crepe City and once again the organisers didn't disappoint! Hosted at The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane the event was even bigger, better and a lot hotter then the previous 10 events!! With over 2,500 people in attendance they were treated to pumping music, beers flowing and everyone out to showcase how much heat they were selling and wearing. On foot were a variety of vintage air Max's, the hyped Yeezy, a lot of Huaraches and unfortunately a few fake Independence Day's sporting the obligatory oversized flag!

With over 200 stalls there was something for everyone. OG Huaraches sent over from Clyde in NZ on the Size8uk stall, many holy grails on the Prime stall and kicks for the small footed on AccessoriesOutfitsKicks. There was kicks ranging from under £20 to four figures; Patta x Air max 1 'Amsterdams' to general release Air Max 1s along with brands including Saucony, Asics and Adidas - anything and everything you could hope for! Puma also showcased future releases and ran a competition on the day to win a pair of the Basket Lo collabs with House of Hackney.

It wasn't just about the kicks either, other stalls such as White Label Clothing and ADYN were selling clothing and Jason Markk were there to help with your kick cleaning needs, along with The Word On The Feet collecting unused kicks for the Jamaica shoe drive. For the ladies there were stalls selling handmade jewellery and you could even get your nails painted to match your kicks. Also the king himself @kingoftrainers was present interviewing fellow sneaker heads.

I didn't cop any kicks this time around but did get myself a 'Parental Advisory' clutch bag by Klear Klutch for £20! Apart from the sweltering heat the event was amazing, catching up with the regular CC goers and meeting new sneakerheads. A big shoutout to the CC organisers for a great day and can't wait for the next one.

Next Crepe City: Saturday 8th November, The Old Truman Brewery. Don't miss out!
