SAUCONY X PENFIELD SHADOW OG 60/40 PACK
December 2nd sees
the online launch of the latest Saucony collaboration, this time with Penfield
and it’s a match made in heaven for these two Boson based brands.
The three models are based on
the classic Shadow Original trainer, the 60/40 name comes from the fabric
composition mix between cotton/nylon on their windproof and water resistance
fabric used throughout this collection and extensively by Penfield since its
inception in 1975. Picked due in part to
the materials ability to withstand the manufacturing process for footwear but
also to compliment the durability of the suede and mesh used on the trainers.
True to previous Saucony’s
collaboration, in place of their logo is a woven Penfield logo on the tongue which adds a nice touch and cements this partnership.
A great turn out for the launch party at
the Penfield store, Covent Garden and with real attention to detail with the Boston lager flowing , it was great to see everyone reppin’ the Saucony brand and I
will be keeping toasty this winter in my Penfield Classic Trapper hat, so a big thank
you!
