Global online fashion and beauty retailer ASOS have teamed up with sport lifestyle brand PUMA to kick start the new year properly!

Launching 13th January 2014, this eleven-piece jersey wear collection looks even more delightful with every teaser I see! This capsule collection has heavy influences and inspiration from 90’s sports street-wear.

The two brands have paired together to produce a bold and compelling collection by mixing fabrications and innovative print techniques.

The brands have focused on dramatic colour-blocking and print, which has formed this powerful collection.

The garments purposefully mismatch clashing urban graffiti with animal and check prints; an energetic and vivid concept that seems so wrong, but yet its so right!

The robust and dynamic prints are softened down and are made somewhat delicate with the use of a feminine lace application. Again another clashy concept that you wouldn't think would work - but it does!

The collection sticks to a colour palette of black, white and grey marl, teamed with primary red pigments and metallic highlights.

Continuing with the distorted and dynamic prints, the collaboration also plays around with and explores the proportions of the pieces. Featuring exaggerated sleeves, quilting and maxi silhouettes, each piece just gets even more exciting the closer you look!

Finishing off each piece and making their mark, the PUMA logo is bold and dramatic. Again the brands have explored and experimented with placement and proportion the logo, fiercely stamping it across sweats, tube dresses and motorcross inspired joggers.

Make sure you stay tuned here for all updates in the run up to the launch of this collaboration!
