We had The Creeper, and tomorrow Rihanna and PUMA launch: The Trainer.

We have been waiting what feels like forever for this news to drop. The highly anticipated launch of The Trainer is almost here! A trainer that combines innovative performance technology with Rihanna's game-changing style...

An all-new PUMA silhouette, The Trainer is fearless and futuristic with exaggerated proportions and (obviously) dripping with sex appeal.

On first looks it's deceiving, I felt unsure at first but I do actually like this silhouette. It's different, but we didn't expect anything less from Rihanna. I like seeing how she is taking things in a different direction for PUMA and I do reckon it's going to grow on us also! Rihanna has killed it with her first collection for Fenty Puma, The Trainer and apparel alike, so it's just making me even more excited to see whats next! I can't wait to see how this partnership is going to evolve.

But back to The Trainer - if it doesn't initially grab you on aesthetic, it will with the tech. The Trainer exudes in performance features. Its upper is constructed from Ariaprene, an advanced form of neoprene for a secure yet breathable fit. You'll feel extra levels of support with its high tongue height (will probably take some getting used to) and TPU Kurim cage with fully reflective underlay. FULLY. REFLECTIVE. I'm officially sold!

The Trainer is flexible as ever with a pivot that allows for 360-degree movement! It has a solid rubber outsole pods providing full ground contact and traction without weighing you down. So it's fit for purpose too, it's definitely not just a fashion statement.

It's obvious Rihanna has paid just as much attention to unique textures and materials as she did to fit, technical details and colours to bring to market that is a true fusion of sport and fashion. This really is the love child of PUMA and Rihanna, bringing together the best technology and boundary breaking style.

The Trainer will be releasing in three bold colours to introduce this new silhouette – Black, White and Red.

Available at retailers such as ASOS, Office, Offspring, JD Sports and size? tomorrow from 10am a £140. I really do want my feet in these! Its really does brings port style to the street.
