HOUSE OF VANS LONDON & VANS GIRLS PRESENT: GIRLS MONTH

House of Vans London have teamed up with a whole host of London-based artists and collectives to bring together a specially curated month of workshops, talks and exhibitions in celebration of International Women’s Day on 8th March.

Kicking off with a private view of D.I.Y.ourself Exhibition on Thursday 25th February from 7pm, House of Vans and Vans Girls are proud to present an INCLUSIVE group exhibition celebrating women and creative expression through a series of Xerox posters to be exhibited in the gallery space.

Contributors include: Lotte Anderson, creator of West London’s cult club night Maxilla, Claire & Nelly of creative all-girl agency Babyface, Bertie & Char, editors of Mushpit MagazineStudio Calm & Collected, a south London based art & design collective and publishing house.

On International Women’s Day itself, Lotte Anderson, Babyface and the Mushpit girls will host 'In Conversation With… '. The girls will talk through their ambitions, careers and their journey so far - from the conception of their ideas to their present successes. Plus they’ll dispense advise to girls who want to start their own business in a Q&A session on the night.

Upholding its commitment to fuel creative expression, House of Vans will also host a succession of workshops on Saturday 27th February to compliment the exhibition including Lotte Andersen's Poster Making Workshop and a Tatty Devine Necklace Making Workshop

Complementing Girls Month, House of Vans put heads together to bring you a film programme commending powerful female characters in film both past and present.

We LOVE the sound of this exhibition, make sure you sign up to the House of Vans London newsletter for exclusive updates on programming and click here for ticket information.
