After the success of the first collaboration between ASICS and Footpatrol in 2014, it's exciting to see their latest creation, entitled "Storm".

The ASICS Tiger Gel Kayano Trainer was first released in 1993, and this release takes its inspiration from 90's rain jackets which used bright and bold colour schemes - perfectly epitomised in the form of this "Storm" trainer. As well as the colours, the shoe features a mix of materials including waterproof and pig skin suede, neoprene boot and my favourite 3M detailing on the heel.  This 3M reflective material is seen again on the iconic cage of the Gel-Kayano trainer.

The ASICS x Footpatrol Gel Kayano Trainer "Storm" will be released this Saturday, 11th April in store and online from 10am BST and retailing at £120. The first 50 pairs sold will come with a limited edition, premium umbrella to tie into the collaboration 'storm' theme. Those of you will smaller feet like myself will also be pleased to hear the collaboration trainer will be available in sizes UK3 - UK13 (including half sizes!).
