Relentless presents Here To Be Heard – the ultimate and unrivalled platform to showcase emerging musical talent continues. Having successfully launched the search for the next up-and-coming band with Everything Everything, Relentless has now enlisted Modestep to find the UK’s next big, unsigned DJ and they found him!

Created to give acts additional exposure to be recognised, Here to be Heard offered one DJ act an amazing springboard for their career. The victorious DJ will win the money-can’t-buy opportunity to play live in front of thousands at the iconic Relentless stage at Leeds festival, playing on the same night as Modestep.

Speaking about the campaign, Modestep DJ, Tony Friend, said: “We’re always on the lookout for new talent and Relentless’ Here To Be Heard Campaign is an amazing platform for upcoming artists to be discovered. We’re looking forward to meeting some of the entrants and helping them along their way as best we can.”

Along with hundreds of other DJ hopefuls, South East London bass enthusiast Mowbz submitted a ten-minute mix in the hope of being selected to play a coveted slot on the Relentless stage in front of 15,000 people at this year’s Leeds Festival.

Modestep - this year’s Here To Be Heard judges - saw Mowbz’ potential and shortlisted him along with four other DJs to face a public vote. Well he only went on to win that public vote and now the DJ, whose style incorporates dubstep, breaks, trap, drum’n’bass and house, prepares to support Modestep on the Relentless Stage at Leeds festival next weekend.

Mowbz – aka Luke Mowberry – spent a day in the Relentless Studio with competition mentors and electronic-rock pioneers before winning a public vote against four other finalists. A money-can’t-buy opportunity to play to thousands of music fans and revellers at the world-renowned Leeds festival, this is a massive opportunity for Mowbz: “I was overwhelmed by the amount of support I received during the voting stage and all the kind words I've received from everybody.
